Today is a quiet day for us. I decided to take the day off to spend with Hudson. Some of the people where I work have been asking me to bring Hudson by since the last time they saw him was at his baptism when he was a month old.
We got to my office around 1030 and worked our way down from the third floor to the first. Hudson was being incredibly shy and even when the base SgtMaj gave him a toy bulldog, Hudson kept trying to give it back. He did pretty well for the most part. He didn't cry when others held him and he eventually willingly went to one of my friends.
On the way home, Hudson fell asleep in the car. At day care this week, he has been throwing a fit around 1100. He'll just sit down and cry. Fabiola has no idea why but now that I saw him fall sleep in the car, I think it's because he is getting tired earlier. Normally nap time is 1300-1500 but at 1130, he was fast asleep in the car and didn't even wake up when I got him out of his seat. Maybe the fact that he has 4 molars and 1 front tooth coming in all at the same time has something to do with it.
So now that Captain Fat Pants is sleeping, I am baking cookies for Scott to take to his class next week. I am sure that the 23 marines he is with will like a nice snack that didn't come from the chow hall.
Now I will leave you with some pictures of Hudson's second Oreo Cookie encounter. He eats it better if it is broken into pieces for him.
